Master Wan Ko Yee (H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III) Has Made A Great Contribution To Art

Master Wan Ko Yee (H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III) Has Made A Great Contribution To Art -1

The Explanation of the Buddha’s Title – “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III

On April 3, 2008, a solemn and dignified first-publishing ceremony of a fact-recording book entitled H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, which published jointly by the World Buddhism Publishing LLC and the World Dharma Voice, Inc., was held at the Library of the Congress of the United States. The book was also formally accepted into the collection of the Library of the Congress of the United States. Only since that time, did people in the world know that Master Wan Ko Yee, who had been broadly respected by the great masses and who had also been known as Great Dharma King Yangwo Yeshe Norbu, had been recognized by the world’s leaders, regent dharma kings, and great rinpoches of Buddhism through official documents as the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha, who is the primordial Sambhogakaya Buddha of the universe. The Buddha’s name is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Since then, people began to address His Holiness the Buddha by “Namo[1] Dorje Chang Buddha III.” This is similar to the situation that Sakyamuni Buddha’s name was Prince Siddhartha Gotama before attaining Buddhahood. However, after Sakyamuni Buddha had attained Buddhahood, His title changed to “Namo Sakyamuni Buddha.” That is why we now address His Holiness the Buddha as “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”

In particular, on December 12, 2012, the Senate Resolution No. 614 of the United States Congress officially used “His Holiness” in the name addressing Dorje Chang Buddha III (That is to say, “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”) Since then, the title and status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has been definitive by nature. And, as a matter of fact, “Dorje Chang Buddha III” is a name used legally in governmental and official legislative documents. Therefore, the previously used respected name and titles such as “Wan Ko Yee,” Great Master, and Great Dharma King no longer exist.

However, the news below was published before the Buddha’s title of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was publicly announced. At that time, people did not know about the true status of His Holiness the Buddha. Therefore, to respect the true history, we still kept the names used before the title of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was legitimately determined in republishing this news. However, all must clearly know that the only legitimate name of His Holiness the Buddha is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and all other names used before the legitimate determination no longer exist.

Layperson Hou Yushan, a university professor in physics, ascended to the World of Ultimate Bliss (Webpage in Chinese)

Layperson Lin Liu Huixiu in Seattle ascended to the World of Ultimate Bliss in a sitting pose (Webpage in Chinese)

While they were alive, the dharma brother and dharma sister worked diligently on their own duties to take care of their family and do volunteer work. Later, they became seriously ill. At such critical moment, they encountered extremely magnificent affinities with the dharma. They respectfully and faithfully listened to the recorded dharma discourses expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha IIIand had the opportunity to pay respect to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in person. With boundless compassion, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III transmitted the dharma to them. Through diligently practicing the dharma, they ascended to the World of Ultimate Bliss. Living beings should all think and seriously ask themselves a question. Who can be guaranteed to ascend to the World of Ultimate Bliss??

After attending the funeral/farewell ceremony for Layperson Hou Yushan, I recalled the time I was having dinner with Layperson Lin Liu Huixiu while she was already terminally ill. The memory of her reminding me to start eating was as fresh and vivid as yesterday. The karmic condition that caused me to learn the Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III also resurfaced in my mind…

At the age of over 80, my grandpa was stricken in bed with pneumonia. In the early morning on that day, he was unable to breath on his own and a tube had to be inserted to feed oxygen in. The suffering caused him to be tied up on the bed yowling for several hours. Eventually, the misery ended at four o’clock in the afternoon. Despite having a strong will to live, he was nevertheless overpowered by the devil of illness and left the world unwillingly. The tragic scene before his death still appears before my eyes…In the morning of that day, grandpa could still talk and move normally. Using hand gestures to help explain, he repeatedly mentioned the time of 4 o’clock in the afternoon to me and my mother. Perhaps he already knew that the Yama King would soon come to take him…

Grandpa’s passing away greatly affected my view toward life. He was at the hospital at the time. I watched with my own eyes him stepping into the impermanence of death. I was unable to help him in any way. His death was like a horrible dream to me. I suddenly woke up to the fact that a person will die… Even the doctor can’t do anything. Where does one go after death? What can we do about that? What can we do about that?

I had never heard about H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III before then. My karmic forces were very heavy. I would doze off when listening to chanting sutras. I was only fond of pursuing worldly good fortune. To quest for the answer of what to do about death, I began to listen to the dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. At the very beginning of listening to the recorded dharma discourses, to tell the truth, I could not get most of what I heard due to my inability to understand the accent. However, any small paragraph that I could understand made me feel like getting precious treasures, even though I did not have any background in Buddhism. Through this process of entering deeply to achieve a simple and explicit understanding, I heard the truth about the universe and human life. The words of “formation, abiding, decaying, and vanishing” sounded extremely precise and accurate. What is impermanence? Why do we have to end birth and death! The dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is so great and magnificent!

After respectfully listening to the recorded dharma discourses expounded byH.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, I have understood what impermanence is about. I am no longer worried or in fear. I also have adjusted the emphasis of my life and do not solely go after worldly enjoyment.

A person will die… Even the doctor can’t do anything. Where does one go after death? What can we do about that? What can we do about that? Actually these questions have been explained very clearly in the recorded dharma discourses expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and are very minor problems……

Do you have questions about ascending to the World of Ultimate Bliss?
Do you have questions about Arhat, Bodhisattva, and Buddha?
If you can respectfully and seriously listen to the recorded dharma discourses expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, you will have all the answers.
The accomplishment one attains depends on one’s own cultivation, conduct, and level of practice.

I am boundlessly grateful to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III!

I beseech and wish living beings have the opportunity to hear the dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and all attain perfect good fortune and wisdom, great accomplishment, and great liberation!

I most sincerely prostrate to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III!
I most sincerely prostrate to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III!
I most sincerely prostrate to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III!

Homage to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III_Cultivators Should Become Buddhist Disciples in Holy Sense with Correct Faith and Real Cultivation

Cultivators Should Become Buddhist Disciples in Holy Sense with Correct Faith and Real Cultivation

Many people say they have faith in Buddhism and therefore naturally regard themselves as Buddhists. However, these numerous Buddhists who regard themselves as having faith in Buddhism are at many levels and a mixture of true Buddhists and false ones and have all kinds of people in them. Among them, there are people who truly believe in Buddhism and have the correct faith, there are people who regard themselves as having the faith but really do not have the correct faith, some falsely claim to have the faith, and there are descendants of Mara Pipiyan who infiltrated into Buddhism to do damages. That is why the Buddhist world is full of chaos in this dharma-ending era. This situation requires true Buddhists and Buddhist disciples with the correct faith to open up their eyes to clearly distinguish what is true and what is false and determine what is right and what is wrong, in order to advance on the correct Bodhi path toward liberation and accomplishment without deviating aside.

There is only one way to achieve that goal. That is, taking the dharmas of the Contemplating the Magnificence of Perfect Prerequisite Oceanic Mind Essence and the Most Magnificent Bodhi Dakini Oceanic Mind Essence in the Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation and What Is Cultivation expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III as the guiding compass for absolutely correct cultivation, earnestly learning from and studying the dharma Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra expounded by H.H.Dorje Chang Buddha III, and diligently listening to the recorded supreme dharma lessons expounded by H.H.Dorje ChangBuddha III.

Buddhist is a noun with broad meanings. Within the scope of this concept embodying a wide range of meanings, quite many people are really just “followers” or even “visitors paying the respect of burning incense.” Their knowledge about Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is just knowing the concept. They only have the so-called faith in Buddhism but have not taken refuge or made deep study or investigation. Basically, they are still invaded and corroded by the three poisons in their daily life, do things based on their own opinions, and do not cultivate or practice in accord with the Buddha’s teachings and warnings. When they go into temples to burn incense and pay respect, they beseech only rewards of good fortune in the current lifetime such as making big money in business, getting promotion or advancing to a position of power, happiness and harmony in family life, good health, and so on. Some of them cannot even tell the difference between Buddhism and Daoism and pay respect to deities and ghosts as well. That is absolutely a false faith in Buddhism without any understanding. Therefore, strictly speaking, such “Buddhist followers” really cannot be regarded as Buddhists.

There are also quite some Buddhists who, though having taken refuge in Buddhism, have not become clear about the approach of learning the absolute truth of Buddha-dharma and practice Buddha-dharma selectively as worldly ways. Some of them even have incorrect or evil knowledge and views. Their cultivation falls into superficiality and becomes a futile effort. They think that believing in Buddha’s existence and having taken refuge in Buddhism are the entirety of a Buddhist’s faith. Their faith in Buddhism is not a pure faith and is not an indestructibly firm faith. Their faith is a “faith that can be overpowered,” which can be easily shaken, overpowered, and abandoned. Their faith is an “intermittent faith.” They sometimes have faith and sometimes have doubt. A slight disturbance can cause them to generate doubt, enter into delusion, and lose confidence. Their faith has reversals and impediment and is not always clear and pure. This type of cause from such impure and contaminated faith definitely cannot bear wonderful fruit of accomplishment and liberation. This kind of faith has an extremely weak foundation and of course is not a true faith. Therefore, the refuge ceremony they have taken is just a formality and cannot represent a true faith in Buddhism.

One who does not have a true faith of course will not have a correct understanding and will not put the faith into action. Therefore, these people will not clearly believe in cause and effect and will not truly know impermanence, much less fear impermanence. Rather, they have deep and severe attachment to the self and always treat things related to them as important and having a higher priority than Buddhist work. They may even list conditions and offer deals to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to ask Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to give them what they want first before doing Buddhist work. How can such cultivation and conduct receive protection and empowerment from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas? How can there be benefits and rewards from learning Buddhism to speak of? Thus, in today’s world, although countless people claim they have faith in Buddhism and cultivators of Buddhism are numerous and everywhere, very few of them can truly receive beneficial rewards. Instances of ending the cycle of birth and death are even rarer. Shouldn’t this situation cause the attention and vigilance of Buddhist disciples learning Buddhism?

The goal of believing in and learning Buddhism is for attaining liberation and accomplishment and becoming a holy one. Therefore, Buddhists questing for liberation and accomplishment should strive to plant and grow the cause of true faith to get the wonderful fruit of liberation and accomplishment and let themselves become veritable disciples of Buddhism with true faith and correct faith. Then, where does true and correct faith come from? Of course it comes from piously cultivating Buddhism through concrete steps. Buddhists with true and correct faith should believe in not only the Buddha’s real existence but also the Buddha’s teachings and precepts, develop strong power of vow from the inner mind to uphold, follow, and carry out the Buddha’s teaching, develop the power of determined faith to regard the principle of Buddha-dharma as the sole standard of selection and the guiding principle of conduct, and strictly and firmly act in accord with the teaching to generate the power of true faith from the inner mind. With such premise, we can establish the determination to cultivate Buddhism, clearly believe in cause and effect, diligently practice the ten actions of goodness and the four limited states of mind, and broadly cultivate the six paramitas through all acts. On the other hand, a person who is deeply plagued by heavy attachment to the self and only superficially obey Buddhas’ and Bodhisattvas’ teachings and precepts will never step onto the path of Bodhi toward liberation and accomplishment even after reading the Tripitaka exhaustively.

Therefore, disciples of Buddhism who truly intend to cultivate Buddhism to attain liberation and accomplishment have to become Buddhist disciples in the holy sense with true faith and real cultivation. Buddhist disciples in the holy sense are in true correspondence with the Buddha’s teaching and the purpose of learning Buddha-dharma and can thoroughly see the true such-ness of mind nature. Such is the meaning of the holy sense. To possess the status of the holy sense, Buddhist disciples must concurrently pursue progress in all three aspects of Buddhism. Only by advancing in all three aspects coherently as a whole can one be regarded as a Buddhist disciple in the holy sense. These three aspects are: the teaching of Buddhism, the study of Buddhism, and Buddha-dharma. Moreover, the three aspects must be combined perfectly to comprise one entity.

The teaching of Buddhism includes the Buddha’s teaching that has been transmitted through the time and historical facts about Buddhism. Among them, there are true events of the Buddha, historical backgrounds, records of the origin and propagation of Buddha-dharma, karmic conditions related to expounding specific dharmas, references and publications of the dharma expounded by the Buddha, rules of Buddhism, and so on. The study of Buddhism refers to Buddhist scriptures, the origin, development, and timeline of Buddhist sects and schools, and the principles and philosophy within Buddha-dharma; all are investigated theoretically using the method of academic research. Buddha-dharma is the special dharma gates transmitted from the Buddha that can enable cultivators transcend the mundane world and enter holiness, methods to lead one into the practice toward liberation and to break away from mundane attachments, including mantras, visualization, mudras, mandala, dharma instrument, the three secret practices of body, speech, and mind, and utilization of the power of siddhi (accomplishment) within the dharma sphere.

It is true that becoming a Buddhist disciple in the holy sense is not easy. However, that is the goal that every Buddhist disciple must pursue and also the only path of cultivating Buddhism toward liberation and accomplishment. Moreover, achieving that goal requires a pious devotion toward the Buddha, focusing the mind on goodness, and pure cultivation of one’s body, speech, and mind.

Due to our rewards of good fortune accumulated through many lifetimes and eons, we live in this era with H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s presence. Additionally, we also have the magnificent karmic conditions that allow us to closely follow H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in learning Buddhism. We can listen with our own ears the recorded dharma lessons expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and respectfully beseech the treasure books with dharmas expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Moreover, many Buddhist disciples among us have personally received initiations transmitted by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in person. How lucky and fortunate we are! What reason do we have for not diligently learning Buddhism and cultivating ourselves! We must make our vow to become a one-hundred-percent Buddhist cultivator with true faith and correct faith and strive to be Buddhist disciple in the holy sense with clear and pure cultivation. We must attain liberation and accomplishment in the current lifetime! Amitabha!

Statement From the World Peace Prize Awarding Council

Statement From the World Peace Prize Awarding Council

WASHINGTONJune 25, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The World Peace Prize Awarding Council held a grand award ceremony on June 14, 2011 in the Gold Room at the U.S. Capitol to express our respect for the recipients of the 2010 World Peace Prize: H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, prominent leader of Buddhism in the world; Hon. Benjamin A. Gilman, former Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The ceremony, chaired by Dr. Han Min Su, founder of the World Peace Prize Awarding Council, was graced by the presence of Senator Mark Kirk, member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations; former Senator Steve Symms; Congresswoman Illeana Ros-Lehtinen, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States Congress; Congressman Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform; Congressman Steve Chabot, member of the U.S. House Committee on Judiciary; and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee, member of the Committee on Homeland Security; Congresswoman Corrine Brown, Chairwoman of the Transportation Subcommittee on Railroads. They all commented on the great achievements of the awardees, who have contributed tremendously to peace and enlightenment for humanity. This event, awarded for the 2010 recognition to those deserving recipients, is part of a continuing program by the World Peace Corps Mission to recognize the outstanding work of individuals who make major contributions for the establishment and maintenance of peace.

Statement From the World Peace Prize Awarding Council-2

In view of some recent comments that the World Peace Prize Awarding Council has received from individuals and groups, expressing their misconceptions and misunderstanding. Our Council hereby issues this statement.

The co-founder of the World Peace Prize Awarding Council, Dr. Han Min Su, is a Christian leader from South Korea. The foundation of his entire life has been to preach Christianity and morality. He has spared no efforts in advancing world peace and furthering friendship and love among humankind. Wherever he goes, he is well respected within the international community as a minster of high moral character, a kind-hearted leader promoting inter-religious collaboration and world peace.

The Chief Judge of the World Peace Prize Awarding Council, Hon. Lester Wolff, is an experienced and distinguished statesman who has worked hard his entire life for world peace. His contributions to peace and development in Asian countries are especially remarkable. He is the author of the United States Congress “Taiwan Relations Act.” In 1978, he met with Deng Xiao-Ping, the Father of Modern China, and laid down the principles and foundation for diplomatic relations between the United States and China. At the same time, he successfully assured peace and development for both sides of the Taiwan Straits. He also introduced amendments to the White House sponsored Foreign Assistance Act of 1979 to restore the initiative for direct peace talks between Israel and the Arab States.

Dr. Suzi P. Leggett has been involved with politics and has worked in Congress over a long period of time. She has been the Chief of Staff of a former Speaker of the House. Her husband, the late Hon. Robert Leggett, was the co-founder of the World Peace Corps Mission, a legislator of great fairness, impartiality, and integrity. While in Congress, he served on the House Armed Services Committee and Budget Committee, and was Chairman of the Panama Canal Zone House Merchant Marine and Fishery Committee and co-chairman of the National Security Task Force.

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, recipient of the 2010 World Peace Prize Top Honor Prize recipient, was recognized by more than 50 eminent dharma kings, regent dharma kings, and great rinpoches from major Buddhist sects around the world: H.H. Dharma King Dumu Qujie, the Root Master of the 17th Karmapa; H.E. Goshir Gyaltsab, a regent dharma king and national master; H.E. Sharmapa, a regent dharma king; H.H. Dharma King Trulshik, H.H. Taklung Tsetrul, and H.E. Chogye Trichen, all three of whom are Masters of the Dalai Lama; H.H. Dharma King Dodrupchen Thupten Trinle Palzang, H.H. Dharma King Penor, H.H. Dharma King Achuk, H.H. Dharma King Jigme Dorje, amongst others. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the most widely recognized leader in the history of Buddhism.

In the past decade, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha has suffered greatly for withstanding long-term persecution for his religious activities. A member country of the Interpol has once requested the Interpol to issue a warrant for His arrest. The request was subsequently withdrawn voluntarily by this member country after some years. Upon thorough investigation, in October of 2008, the 72nd session of the Commission for the Control of Interpol’s Files withdrew the arrest warrant and the entire case against H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Interpol also issued a document stating in definite terms that the arrest warrant against H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has been cancelled and all of its member countries have been notified of the cancellation.

Although H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III long ago received official notification of the withdrawal of the arrest warrant and the removal of the entire case, He has never shown such documents to prove His innocence. Regardless of the slander He has endured, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III did not disclose such ironclad evidence. When the World Peace Prize Awarding Council found out, and asked H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III about this, He responded by saying that what He must do is bear all of the karmic offenses committed by living beings and give to living beings all of the good karma and merit that He has planted. He said that if He proved His innocence by showing those documents, then those who slandered Him would no longer be seen as innocent. Who, He asked, will bear their karmic offenses?

His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III is more than deserving of the Top Honor Prize as He exemplifies the nobility of selflessness; a model of morality for all to emulate. He also demonstrated how peace is often attained by determination, humility and the perseverance to advance its cause in the face of adversity.

Hon. Benjamin A. Gilman, also recipient of the World Peace Prize Top Honor Prize, is a distinguished statesman who served as Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee for a long period of time. He is a life-long champion of human rights: fighting world hunger, narcotic abuse and trafficking. He has made many successful efforts to bring about “prisoner exchanges” which resulted in freedom of American citizens in East GermanyMozambiqueCuba and several other countries. Congressman Gilman served 15 terms, a total of 30 years in the U.S. Congress. Prior to that, he served 6 years in the New York State Legislature as Assemblyman, and several years as Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Department of Law. While in Congress, he served as Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and as Congressional delegate to the United Nations with title of Ambassador, and later the Ukrainian Famine Commission and Vice Chairman of the Committee on POW’s. Mr. Gilman has been a recipient of numerous honors including the President’s Certificate of Outstanding Achievement “for continued, demonstrated vision, initiative, and leadership in the effort to achieve a world without hunger” and has annually received the “Peace Through Strength” Award presented by the American Security Council.

The World Peace Prize Awarding Council operates according to the core spirit of advancing peace and justice and inter-religious collaborations. The Council is led by co-founder and executive judge Dr. Han Min Su with esteemed members including Chief Judge Hon. Lester Wolff, former Chairman of the United States Congress Asian Affairs Committee; Dr. Suzi P. Leggett, advisor to one of the former Speaker of the United States Congress; Hon Asher Naim, former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations; Hon. Bhupatry M. Oza, former Ambassador of India; Hon. Peter Lewis, former Speaker of the South Australian House of Assembly; Dr. Kong Shiu-Loon, former advisor to the UNESCO; General Gennady P. Turmov, retired General of Russia.

Preaching and promoting peace is an arduous and sometimes thankless task. Those in the vanguard continue to become targets of others who lurk in the darkness to attack the peacemaker and attempt to undermine their efforts. That is why we established the World Peace Prize, to encourage continuing efforts towards peace and to defend the Peacemaker against scurrilous diatribes that put into question the motivation of well meaning and dedicated individuals.

The Buddhist disciples of seven types together chanted respectfully The Buddha Speaks of the Amitabha Buddha Sutra to dedicate the merit to Layperson Zhao Yusheng. The dharma assembly proceeded in a very solemn and majestic atmosphere.

In the introduction, the Chief Abbess of the International Buddhism Sangha Association, Dharma Master Shi Zhengda, who just traveled from mainland China via Taiwan to Los Angeles to attend this memorial dharma assembly held for Layperson Zhao Yusheng, mentioned that Layperson Zhao Yusheng was once a disciple of a man with the last name of Chen. Because he had not learned any Buddha-dharma from this Mr. Chen and instead erred on causality in many circumstances, he became very sick and the illness turned more and more serious. Therefore, he was in great pain and suffered very much. He came to the United States on June 27. That enabled him to learn the true dharma of the Tathagata.

Dharma Master Shi Zhengda told the audience that, on the same day of June 27, Layperson Zhao Yusheng had the good fortune to receive a holiest great dharma transmitted to him by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, the supreme leader of Buddhism in the world. Amitabha Buddha was invited to come to the mandala, manifesting in the Buddha’s 32 great appearances and emitting endless light rays from the Buddha’s body. Amitabha Buddha touched Layperson Zhao’s head and gave him a prophecy in person, telling him that Kuan Yin Bodhisattva would be sent to receive and escort him to the Western World of Ultimate Bliss. (Zhao Yusheng had put his personal experience of this event into writing, which was already published on the internet.) On August 24, Zhao Yusheng passed away and reached liberation. The holy state manifested when he followed Kuan Yin Bodhisattva to go to the World of Ultimate Bliss was witnessed by those who were present at the scene.

Dharma Master Shi Zhengda pointed out that getting such an outcome is the most joyful thing to all of us Buddhist disciples. Layperson Zhao Yusheng was able to learn and accomplish the true dharma of the Tathagata and become a holy and virtuous one of Buddhism in less than two months. This is what we should be happy about him. She hoped that Buddhist disciples as well as living beings can all learn the true dharma of the Tathagata and truly follow the teachings of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and Sakyamuni Buddha to cultivate themselves and to remove evil and pursue goodness.

A Holy and Virtuous One Attained Accomplishment through Buddhism-4Dharma Master Shi Ruo Hui

Dharma Master Shi Ruo Hui, the Abbess of Hua Zang Si described the situation when Layperson Zhao Yusheng passed away and reached liberation. On that day, the sky was completely clear without any cloud and the hot sun was shining intensely. At the time, they stood under the trees and saw nectar descending down like snowflakes. When drops of nectar touched one’s face and body, the feeling was extremely refreshing and cool. They were all very delighted. At the same time, they felt happy and gratified for Layperson Zhao. This is because, only after Layperson Zhao Yusheng had begun to follow H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, did he attain such great accomplishment and did so many auspicious and celebrated phenomena appear. This is truly a very happy and gratifying event.

Layperson Bee Bee Moh and Layperson Zhao Chen who is the daughter of Layperson Zhao Yusheng who had been taking care of Layperson Zhao Yusheng during this entire period all along witnessed the holy state and the auspicious and celebrated phenomena appearing at the time when he passed away and reached liberation.

Layperson Bee Bee Moh said that, after receiving the dharma and returning to San Francisco, Layperson Zhao Yusheng practiced the dharma every day. Before passing away, Brother Zhao told her that he was about to leave. She helped Brother Zhao to put on the prepared clothing. She said that she was greatly astounded at the time. The Brother left right after saying so. That is truly the freedom from birth and death!!! She and Zhao Chen smelled a special fragrant scent from the Brother’s body. Next, the Brother said, “I will now use my freedom from birth and death to prove that the Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the holiest. Chen Baosheng is a demonic devil and demonic evildoer! He is an evil master, big swindler, and a person of sin!” He also said, “The true dharma of the Tathagata is at where our great Buddha Master, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, is. Okay, okay, I will stop now. Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva has come to receive me!” Layperson Bee Bee Moh spoke about the scene she saw, “At that time, he emitted light from his entire body. I saw the extremely tall and great Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, radiating strong and intense white light everywhere from His body. Surrounded by five-colored light, Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva was extremely solemn and majestic, standing above the top of Brother Zhao’s head. At this time, I saw that Brother Zhao’s spiritual consciousness, dressed in splendid white clothing and emitting light from the entire body, rushed out from the top of his head toward Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva and left in the sky! A neighbor who is an elder lady from Malaysia also saw this scene. She also talked about how the nectar dripped down. The white-colored nectar immediately disappeared after dropping to the ground.”

Layperson Zhao Chen said that, as the daughter, she was very surprised when seeing her father leaving right after saying so! However, seeing the holy state of her father following Kuan Yin Bodhisattva to ascend to the World of Ultimate Bliss and nectar coming down from the sky, she was very delighted and joyful. She also said that her father’s body emitted fragrant scent from time to time after passing away. She had never smelt that kind of body fragrance before. That also belongs to the outcome from her father’s perfection of cultivation. Bee Bee Moh and Zhao Chen witnessed with their own eyes this extremely solemn and magnificent holy state and also felt boundless dharma joy for Layperson Zhao Yusheng’s great accomplishment of ascending to the Western World of Ultimate Bliss and becoming a holy and virtuous one!

After the dharma assembly had concluded perfectly, all attendees escorted Layperson Zhao Yusheng’s body of accomplishment to the Rose Hills Memorial Park to be buried there.

Free admission for a limited time to visit the world-class art!

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 14, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ — Located in Covina, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Cultural and Art Museum is the largest art museum in East Los Angeles County. It was opened in 2014 and has a collection of over two hundred pieces of art, including western paintings, Chinese paintings, calligraphy, poems, hand-painted tiles and marbles, as well as a unique style of sculpture called Yun Sculpture, which was never seen before in the world, all done by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III who has also independently originated sixteen unique schools of painting.

The art by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is considered world class. For example, the ink-lotus, was sold for 16.5 million US Dollars in the 2015 Spring Auction in New York, setting the highest record price in that auction and making it the price leader among art works by all living artists. The Carp in a Lotus Pond set a price record for limited replicas with each copy sold for three hundred seventy-nine thousand and five hundred dollars in the international art auction market many years ago. In the painting Dragon Carp Frolic in the Lotus Pond, the fish, lotus, water, flowers and watergrass all show spirits that are unforgettable, as is the tremendous force brought out by the brushwork. This painting was appraised for 59 million Dollars ($1,978,500 per square foot) by a reputable and legally certifiable appraisal company at that time. That painting is open for replication to public, and someone offered to purchase the copy if it is replicated successfully from the original painting for very high price. However, no one has yet been able to successfully replicate it so far. As can been seen, it has indeed reached such a great level! The offer is still good today, and anyone who is interested in replicating it is welcome.

What is the most applaudable is the several super-tridimensional Yun sculptures on display in the museum by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Some are grandiose and others are delicate, but all look as though the energy of the universe is flowing and changing. Yun sculptures are unique in the world. There are only two museums in the world where they can be viewed and H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Cultural and Art Museum is one of them.

As a non-profit organization, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Cultural and Art Museum does not only display and promote art and culture by letting public visit for free, but also work to provide charity services of all kind in the community – including periodic visits and donations to senior centers, centers for abused women and children, handicap centers, centers for autistic youths, orphanages and other social service organizations. It also donates to and support local police and fire departments. Besides, the museum holds periodic art contests and displays, provides scholarships to students and encourages youths to make creations in art and culture. These social services have won the museum critical acclaims among all levels in the society.

Visitors to the museum not only are surprised by the wonderful beauty of the art in the museum but also leave with beautiful, blissful and happy impressions. They unanimously leave great comments and the highest ratings for the museum on Yelp, and as such Yelp specially presented H.H. The Magnificent Process That I Witnessed in Person When Layperson Zhao Yusheng Passed Away Perfectly

The Magnificent Process That I Witnessed in Person When

The Magnificent Process That I Witnessed in Person When

Layperson Zhao Yusheng Passed Away Perfectly

Amitabha! Dharma masters, rinpoches, and kind virtuous ones, my name is Bee Bee Moh. I will now talk about the magnificent process occurred when Layperson Zhao Yusheng passed away perfectly. To avoid missing something when I talk, I wrote my speech down earlier.

Zhao Yusheng was a disciple of Chen Baosheng and had learned the evil teaching from Chen Baosheng before. Every day, he chanted “supreme vajra master” and that one’s accomplishment all depends on the master and relies on the joy and pleasure of the master. Zhao Yusheng said that he helped Chen Baosheng hide the truth and create false information while working at the tile company. That caused the company to lose more than 800,000 yuan just last year. He said, “I also helped him make false propaganda to deceive people. My situation became worse and worse as I was learning from Chen Baosheng. I am bounded by sin and bad karmas. My body now has cancer and is in great pain and suffering.” Zhao Yusheng realized that he had been harmed by Chen Baosheng’s demonic dharma. He was able to meet H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III after his cancer had reached the terminal stage. When Zhao Yusheng saw His Holiness, the Buddha, he piously repented before the Buddha Master. The Buddha Master said that repenting or not is not important and it is important that one should cultivate oneself well and truly correct the evil and pursue goodness to benefit society and living beings. Zhao Yusheng repented wholeheartedly. He no longer wanted to be a rinpoche and completely stopped learning the evil teaching. He did not fear death and only wished to be reborn in the Buddha-land. He made the greatest vow. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha IIIsaw his sincerity and the maturing of his karmic condition and transmitted the dharma to him. Amitabha Buddha was invited to manifest in person to touch his head and transmit the dharma to him. Brother Zhao Yusheng was also able to see the main gate of the Western Paradise of Ultimate Bliss at that time. Amitabha Buddha told the Brother that Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva would come to receive him to go to a place in the 5th lotus stage in the Pure Land. After receiving the dharma transmission from Amitabha Buddha and returning to San Francisco, the Brother practiced the dharma all the time every day and did not want to talk much. Sister Zhao Chen, who is the Brother’s daughter and I waited day by day. We did not know which day Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva would come to receive the Brother. I have a company at Washington DC to run, but I also wanted to see the Brother attaining accomplishment. That created a contradiction in my mind. Well, a day spent was like a year to me! Eventually I had to call to beseech instructions from the Buddha Master. The Buddha Master said, “He will not be reborn there for the time being. For Zhao Yusheng’s physical condition, the decisions from the doctors and nurses should always be followed.”

On the day before Brother Zhao’s perfect passing away, he and I sat on a bench outside. He told me, “Chen Baosheng is a demonic devil, demonic evildoer, person of sin, criminal of fraud, and swindler. Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva wanted me to expose his sinful acts and said that He will come tomorrow to receive me. I was told to manifest the dharma to let people know when I am received to leave. However, I am worried that I may be drowsy and forget to expose him when Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva comes to receive me tomorrow.” I told the Brother, “Don’t worry. You don’t worry. Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva will definitely come to receive you, and you will not be drowsy.”

At about 2:30pm in the afternoon on August 24 in American time, I was taking a nap at the time. After going outside to the restroom by himself, Brother Zhao came in to wake me up. He told us that he was about to leave and we should sincerely learn the dharma from the Buddha Master so we will meet again in the Western Paradise of Ultimate Bliss. He was going to take a bath. At that time, we felt quite sad. Is this person who is alive now truly going to leave? We help him take out the clothing prepared for him earlier. After putting on his clothing, we smelled a kind of special fragrant scent from Brother Zhao’s body. Then, the Brother said, “I will now use my freedom from birth and death to prove that the Buddha-dharma of H.H. Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva has come to receive me!” After finishing speaking, Brother Zhao emitted light from his entire body. At that time, I saw that Brother Zhao’s spiritual consciousness rushed out from the top of his head toward Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva and left in the sky! While watching, I suddenly was unable to see Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva and Brother Zhao. I hurriedly ran into the courtyard. At this time, my phone rang. I raised my head and saw that Brother Zhao left in the sky while stepping on white clouds and following Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva. I also saw that fragrant nectar was coming down from the trees in the yard! Dharma masters from Hua Zang Sicame right at that time. When they arrived, they also saw that nectar was descending from the trees. The dharma masters also recorded the scene by video. This nectar was strange. It disappeared before touching the ground. I was not the only one seeing the event. An elder lady who is 92 years old and from Malaysia also saw that Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva received Brother Zhao Yusheng and brought him away! This holy manifestation is difficult to hear even in millions of kalpas.

I am grateful to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.

I am grateful to Namo Amitabha Buddha.

I am grateful to Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva.

Thank you all.

The International Buddhism Sangha Association:

I was most fortunate to have a chance to pay my respects to the noble Wang Zha Shang Zun and receive a most wonderful teaching from him. Because of his great compassion and mercy in giving me his wisdom concerning an important dharma matter, I now have a deeper understanding and appreciation for the dharma that I practice and my cultivation. I would like to share this truth with others. I have already distributed the attached article that I wrote about this event to the readers of the Holy Vajrasana Temple’s Newsletter and to my students whom I could reach by email or WeChat.  I would like to request that IBSA further distribute the attached to their extensive mailing list so that even more people can share the good news and benefit and let more people know the greatness and inconceivable virtue of Wang Zha Shang Zun. Of course, I am not capable of using words to express the supremacy of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, who is both Wang Zha Shang Zun’s and my master.

The most holy Wang Zha Shang Zun is truly great. His profound wisdom, humility, and kindness serve as an example for us all!  Amitabha!

Many blessings to all for the coming New Year, Zhaxi Zhuoma.

————————————————————-

This February Newsletter of the Holy Vajrasana Temple & Retreat Center is devoted entirely to Abbot Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche’s personal opportunity to pay respect to Wang Zha Shang Zun after she participated in the Jin Gang Fa Man Ze Jue Dharma Assembly and the precious dharma that she received as a result of that meeting. Because of its importance to both Chinese and English-speaking disciples, this Newsletter will be provided in both English and Chinese.

To my disciples and other friends of the Xuanfa Institute:

Since the United International World Buddhism Association Headquarters (UIWBAH) article recently appeared concerning the September Jin Gang Fa Man Ze Jue Dharma Assembly, many of you have asked me what the most excellent and greatholy Wang Zha Shang Zun is like. In addition to successfully conducting this amazing and very high level ceremony to determine who was and who was not an authentic incarnation of a Buddha, he is a most impressive and powerful elder man who is worthy of our respect. I have met many dharma kings of different sects, but no one is like Wang Zha Shang Zun. His power and virtue surpass all of them.

After the ceremony, I had the extreme good fortune to meet an attendant of his who speaks English and requested to prostrate to the Shang Zun, which to my surprise, was granted. It is very difficult to meet him. The Assistant told me that, to date, probably less than 100 persons in the U.S. have had the good fortune to meet him privately. The attendant took me to the place where this great mahasattva was staying. I was very excited to be able to see him again. Wang Zha Shang Zun mostly speaks Tibetan, but I am told he can also speak Mandarin Chinese. His voice was as I had remembered from the ceremony. Seeing him up close, I realize that he is probably over six feet tall and in excellent health. I had guessed that he must be at least sixty as I knew he had spent 45 years in seclusion in Tibet, but from his appearance guessed he could be even younger.  His attendant told me that Shang Zun had already turned 93. He is very spirited and looked like and had the energy and bearing of a much younger man. As for his appearance, he has a most remarkable full beard, large kind eyes, bushy eyebrows, a rectangular face, and is bald. I was reminded of images of Bodhidharma, the “barbarian” with such a beard and eyebrows who went to China from India, only Wang Zha Shang Zun is considerably more handsome than the great patriarch of Zen is usually portrayed to be. However, what is most impressive is his incredible modesty and humility. This is what it is like to be in the presence of a great holy being!

I had wanted to meet him to express my gratitude for the empowerment I received at the Jin Gang Fa Man Ze Jue Dharma Assembly, but also just to show my respect because I knew that only someone of very high attainment could have performed that dharma. When I offered him prostrations, he would always tell me to prostrate instead to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. His attendant told me that this holder of three gold buttons at a Shang Zun level always carried an image of the Buddha Master with him and did this. When he went back to his living space, the first thing he would do was to put H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s image and Shakyamuni Buddha’s image in a high place and make offerings to them. I again prostrated, but it was just as before. Wang Zha said, “The Buddha Master is here. You should prostrate to the Buddha Master. How can I accept your prostrations?” The other dharma kings I have met always accepted and even arrogantly awaited my prostrations while silently seating on their throne. Wang Zha Shang Zun is certainly the top chief great dharma king among all dharma kings, but he is still so humble. I was very touched. Again I realized how very, very fortunate I am.

Wang Zha Shang Zun is very easy to communicate with and very amiable. Every sentence he says with a smile.  He also provided me with hot tea having his assistant serve me using traditional China teacups. I accepted the teacup and put it aside on the table. Wang Zha then told me that “the quality of this tea is not very good. It comes from Tibet and is called Old Eagle Tea”. However, the fragrance of the tea, was so wonderful that it betrayed his humble portrayal.  I requested from Wang Zha Shang Zun how to practice the Green Tara Mirror Altar Dharma (Jing Tan Fa). The Shang Zun said, “First you have to have a good mirror. Then you get the dharma transmitted through holy inner tantric initiation. The most important thing is that you should practice according to the Buddha Master’s teachings, and let all people know that they should do good and cease evil. It is then very easy to succeed with this dharma. But you should decide by yourself if you want to practice this dharma. The Buddha Master proposed that we should cultivate ourselves and opposed the miraculous. I am not telling you to practice this Green Tara Altar Dharma.”

The time flew by so quickly. My mouth was dry and I realized I needed to drink the tea, but when I lifted the cup, the cup is so heavy it is as if it were glued to the table.  I couldn’t move it even when I exerted a lot of force. I was so surprised. I put that cup on the table. How can I now not lift it? This time Wang Zha Shang Zun saw what was happening and told me, “It is no use to use force. Force cannot lift it. You have to use your mind to lift it. When your mind is not attached to anything, everything will follow your mind.” Then Wang Zha Shang Zun asked me to lift it again. Very strange. It was as if it was weightless. I easily lifted it and also when I opened the cover of the cup, there is a moving image like a video in the cover. I clearly saw a picture of one of my fellow brothers from the past and a moment when I was in Japan. It was very clear, but it quickly started to disappear. I was really surprised. I used my eyes to follow the cover. After a while it completely disappeared. Then Shang Zun said. “Any object can be used as a mirror.” So I suddenly understood why my mind and my cultivation are so important and cannot be replaced by anything else.

I pray that each of you take advantage of this most fortunate fact that the H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha is living in this world now and practice the Dharma that you learn. I also pray that you all quickly become accomplished.

Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III! Namo Shakyamuni Buddha!

A very ashamed and fortunate disciple, Zhaxi Zhuoma prostrates and offers special thanks to Wang Zha Shang Zun for teaching her this important lesson.

A miracle after continuously listening to the dharma discourse and cultivating, and practice according to the teachings H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III:

The tumor in my thyroid gland has mysteriously diminished.

Staring at my medical report, the uncomfortable feeling which I have been experiencing around my front neck has been affirmed – There is a tumor about 3.2 x 2.1 cm in size in my thyroid gland.

Strangely, coming to terms with the fact that there is a tumor bigger than the size of my thumb in my neck has not caused me fear and distressed. Ever since I started learning Buddhism, I have not done any killing of any forms of living beings.  Indeed I have been persuading my friends and families not to kill any forms of living beings but do more life deliberation instead. Besides, I have actively participated in various types of Buddhist voluntary work, hoping to accumulate merits from my good deeds. For I strongly believe that I will have the blessing from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and that I will always be fine.

A miracle after continuously listening to the dharma discourse and cultivating, and practice according to the teachings by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III: The tumor in my thyroid gland has mysteriously diminished.
This was my ultrasound report dated 29.06.2016 from The Second People’s Hospital of Shenzhen, showing that there was a tumor of 32mm x 21mm in size in the left side of my thyroid gland.

Upon knowing the news, I did not allow my mind to wander disorderly. Instead, I sincerely prayed to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for blessings and calmingly accepted the medical advice from the doctor. The doctor suggested an operation as the tumor was benign. To be on the safe side, my family and I were seeking further medical advice, hoping for a better solution. We came to know that Sun Yu Shan hospital in Shenzhen offers treatment by medication and no operation is needed. I visited the hospital January 2017 and was informed that it was too late for me to be put on the medication treatment due to the size of my tumor which could not be dissolved by medication only. I was also told that the medication might cause side effect to the stomach and as a result, I was advised to go for an operation.

According to the doctors and the medical websites, thyroid neoplasm is not a terminal illness, however, the operation to remove the tumor of this size could be life threatening as it is surrounded by main artery and lymph nodes in the neck. Because of my faith in practising the true Buddha dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, I was prepared to accept the worst and understood that it was all due to my karma. However, what worried me more was if I had gone for the operation and my daily practice of the Buddha dharma (which was transmitted to me by my Ru Zun Holy Monk Master would be interrupted and this is disrespectful to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. I prayed to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for giving me the best solution.

I started learning Buddhism in 2013 after I was introduced to Buddhism by a fellow from the same village as me. In the beginning, I did not practise Buddhism diligently. However, in the past two years, I have actively participated group cultivation sessions, listening to dharma discourses of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and sharing the benefits of practising Buddhism. That’s how I learned why human beings cannot avoid illnesses and what karmic cause and effect is, etc.  We, the people from Guang Dong have always liked to eat fresh and live seafood and hence have accumulated great extent of negative karma. I understand that when the time comes, I will need to face my own karmic consequences.

I decided to go for the operation soon after my visit to Sun Yu Shan hospital. Coincidentally, it was close to the spring festival and my family and friends persuaded me to postpone the operation after the spring festival celebration. I agreed and temporarily set aside the thought of going for the operation but I continued diligently to practise Buddhism, to listen to the dharma discourse and I would transfer all the merits to all the living beings. When gathered with the family during the reunion dinner in my hometown, I did my best to persuade my family members not to slaughter chickens/ducks but encouraged them to spare any forms of life.

Every week, I would go to a temple about 30km away to participate a group cultivation session.  This is because to me practising Buddhism is the right path to happiness. After I came back from my hometown after the spring festival celebration, I suddenly felt that the discomfort in my neck has diminished. I could feel that the size of the tumor has reduced and the whole of me felt relaxed. I knew that that was the blessings from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas bestowed upon me. I shared this experience with my husband and he found it hard to believe that the tumor would grow smaller without any medication or treatment. He said it would be impossible and that I would have been very lucky if the tumor had not grown bigger.

In March 2017, my family said it was time to go for the operation. This time I refused. I was adamant that the tumor had grown smaller. Despite my family’s disbelief, I had the absolute faith that it was the blessings from the Buddha dharma. On March 16, I went for another ultrasound scan at Shenzhen Shekao People’s Hospital. To my relief, the result confirmed that the tumor has reduced remarkably by 1/3rd to 2.1cm x 1.5cm. Moreover, I was so delighted as the doctor announced that I did not have to go through the operation anymore except to go for a check-up once a year.

Learning and practising Buddhism is a true belief and not superstition. While I uphold my faith in the blessings from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, I do not deny the needs for medication. In the《128 Evil and Erroneous Views expounded by Buddha Master, it was specifically pointed out that it is an erroneous view to believe that your illness will be cured by requesting empowerment and without cultivating yourself. I faithfully followed this teaching and therefore I sought for necessary medical advice to help with my illness and at the same time not to forget to continue the cultivation.

This was my ultrasound report dated 16.03.2017 from Shenzhen Shekao People’s Hospital, confirming that the tumor had reduced to 2.1cm x 1.5cm and no operation was needed

One must have faith in learning and practising Buddhism.  Everything begins from “Belief, resolve, and action”.  Without the fundamentals of believing in Buddha dharma, believing in the blessings from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and believing in the law of cause and effect, one cannot practise the real Buddha dharma and benefit from the Buddha dharma’s blessings. Because of my faith and sincerity towards true dharma, my tumor reduced by 1/3 by itself in 3 months. This incident convinced my husband and it also helped me to gain the support from my husband to continue to learn the Buddha dharma by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. I also take the opportunity to share with my friends and families the benefits of practising Buddhism and encourage them to participate and practise Buddhism in our daily life.

It has been 6 months since I took the last ultrasound, the tumor has not grown bigger.  I am healthy. Nowadays, I regularly practise Buddhism and play wiser balls with my daughter and I enjoy a happy family life. Every week, I continue to visit the temple 30km away to participate in the group cultivation session.  To me,  Buddhism is the right path to happiness. The true dharma is the path to self-happiness, to avoid bad karma, and by applying the law of cause and effect in our daily life, we will find that our life is getting better and better.

I hope more people would come to learn the true dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.
