America’s National Flag Is Raised for H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III

Thousands of Buddhist disciples held khatas and devoutly knelt on the ground to welcome His Holiness the Buddha as they loudly chanted “Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III ascended to the platform to expound the dharma for thousands of Buddhist disciples, emphasizing the importance of cultivating oneself.

LOS ANGELES, CA, July 14, 2018 / — In 2010, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III received the World Peace Prize. In 2013, the Senate of the United States Congress unanimously passed a Senate Resolution affirming the nature of the World Peace Prize and the correctness of the decision to issue that prize. The resolution recognized the accomplishments and status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. as well as the contributions His Holiness the Buddha has made to humanity.

On June 24, 2018, World Buddhism Association Headquarters held a “Celebrating the Birthday of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III" dharma assembly at Holy Heavenly Lake in California. During the assembly, it was publicly announced to thousands of Buddhists from all over the world that on May 15th, at the United States Capitol in the nation’s capital, the American flag was raised to honor H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, the supreme leader of all of Buddhism.

The raising of the American flag in the United States capital to celebrate the birthday of the H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III enabled Buddhists from all over the world to know the greatness and supreme status of His Holiness the Buddha. According to our understanding, a number of senior congressional members from both the House and the Senate, including heads of congressional committees and the Speaker, sent letters to congratulate H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III on the flag raising.

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was present at the site of the dharma assembly held by World Buddhism Association Headquarters. Heavily guarded by the police force, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III walked onto the red carpet toward the lakeside. The seven types of Buddhist disciples attending the assembly knelt on both sides of the carpet, raising their khatas to welcome the Buddha as they loudly chanted “Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III."

During the dharma assembly, the sun shone brightly high above. The temperature remained as high as around 82 degrees Fahrenheit during the whole time. Yet miraculously, both inside and outside the pavilion, it did not feel hot at all; it even felt soothingly cool.

Venerable Mozhi, the person in charge of World Buddhism Association Headquarters, said during the opening address of the dharma assembly, “We should thank our great America. On May 15th, the American flag was raised at our United States Capitol building, where it waved in the wind. This was done to specially wish H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III a happy birthday. The congressional flag-raising document read, “This flag was flown in honor of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, Supreme Leader of all Buddhism, on the occasion of his birthday." The flag you see here fluttering in the wind is the flag that was raised on Capitol Hill in Washington DC and was delivered to and received by the Office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.

Venerable Mozhi gave an introduction to Holy Heavenly Lake to the thousands of Buddhists attending the dharma assembly, saying that the lakeside of Holy Heavenly Lake where the attendees were gathered is an extremely wonderful and remarkable mandala that is full of auspiciousness. He said, “Right below where we are standing now is a huge crystal lake. Under Holy Heavenly Lake, there is also an underground river, which is one of the two great rivers in the world that flows from south to north. This place is truly auspicious."

He went on to say that eminent monastics and people of great virtue are welcome to come and build Buddhist centers here. This city of Buddhist centers will be developed with the best effort, and it will be comparable in scale to the Vatican. The “True Dharma Temple," where H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III will reside, will also be built here. This entire Buddhist city will be surrounded by walls. Inside the walls will be a holy Buddhist land. The inside of this Buddhist city will be an extraordinarily wonderful Buddhist treasure-land of the world! In the future, everyone will be welcome to come to this place, which will be the most majestic, flourishing Buddhist center in the world. Venerable Mozhi also explained that as of now only Holy Heavenly Lake. LLC and World Buddhism Association Headquarters own land at the lakeside of Holy Heavenly Lake. No other individual or organization owns any such land. There are also some people who are intentionally paying much higher than the market price to buy real estate in the area surrounding the property of Holy Heavenly Lake. In doing so, they have caused the construction cost of this Buddhist city to go up. Not only is this kind of selfish conduct inflating the market price, it is also damaging to the true dharma.

The Venerable Mozhi continued to say, “I am responsible for the work of World Buddhism Association Headquarters. Naturally, I have become a cultivator at World Buddhism Association Headquarters to benefit the public. Serving the public and bringing benefits and happiness to living beings, contributing to the prosperity and strength of the country, contributing to world peace, and adding to the dharma realm one more liberated living being after another; that is my job."

After addressing the congregation, Venerable Mozhi knelt and prostrated to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. In a sonorous a voice, he beseeched His Holiness the Buddha to expound the dharma for all Buddhist disciples, He also said, “May our United States be prosperous and flourishing. May our United States be successful in all respects. I wish all of the countries from which each of you have come abundant harvest and favorable weather. I wish all of you great joy and benefits in the dharma. May you achieve perfect good fortune and wisdom, and soon realize enlightenment!"

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III ascended to the platform to expound the dharma to everyone, emphasizing the importance of cultivating oneself and the fundamental principles of learning from Buddha. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III also blessed the participants by giving each of them a holy nectar pill. Just as His Holiness the Buddha had vowed in the past, His Holiness the Buddha selflessly benefitted living beings and did not accept one cent of any offering. All seven types of Buddhist disciples rejoiced. Everyone was filled with joy from the dharma. The dharma assembly concluded in perfect success.

The Explanation of the Buddha’s Title – “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III”

On April 3, 2008, a solemn and dignified first-publishing ceremony of a fact-recording book entitled H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, which published jointly by the World Buddhism Publishing LLC and the World Dharma Voice, Inc., was held at the Library of the Congress of the United States. The book was also formally accepted into the collection of the Library of the Congress of the United States. Only since that time, did people in the world know that Master Wan Ko Yee, who had been broadly respected by the great masses and who had also been known as Great Dharma King Yangwo Yeshe Norbu, had been recognized by the world’s leaders, regent dharma kings, and great rinpoches of Buddhism through official documents as the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha, who is the primordial Sambhogakaya Buddha of the universe. The Buddha’s name is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Since then, people began to address His Holiness the Buddha by “Namo[1] Dorje Chang Buddha III.” This is similar to the situation that Sakyamuni Buddha’s name was Prince Siddhartha Gotama before attaining Buddhahood. However, after Sakyamuni Buddha had attained Buddhahood, His title changed to “Namo Sakyamuni Buddha.” That is why we now address His Holiness the Buddha as “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”

In particular, on December 12, 2012, the Senate Resolution No. 614 of the United States Congress officially used “His Holiness” in the name addressing Dorje Chang Buddha III (That is to say, “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”) Since then, the title and status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has been definitive by nature. And, as a matter of fact, “Dorje Chang Buddha III” is a name used legally in governmental and official legislative documents. Therefore, the previously used respected name and titles such as “Wan Ko Yee,” Great Master, and Great Dharma King no longer exist.

Chinese master makes history as painting sells for record price

Master Wan Ko Yee,“H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III” master of Buddhism and art, yesterday made Chinese art history when his painting was sold for the highest price ever by a living Chinese artist.

His painting,“Venerable Da Li Won”, broke the painters own record when it sold for NT$72 million, or US$467 per square inch, an official from the auction said.

“Originally, we estimated that it might be sold for about NT$30 million. However, the bidding went higher and higher. Though the final selling price was beyond what we had expected, it wasn’t really much of a surprise because Master Wan Ko Yee“H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III” is very influential in the religious world and his painting is outstanding”, said Thomas Fan, an official at the Chinese Painting Department of Unique Art Collections International Co.,Ltd.

Fan said that the bidding for the painting started at NT$18 million and that a British art collector and art merchant, Mr. Naylor, made the final bid. Fan added that the company was not allowed to release any further information about the buyer.

The record selling price of US$467 per square inch beat the record of his last painting“Majesty,”which was auctioned off at the price of US$455 per square inch on May 28,according to a statement released by the Unique Art Collections International.

Master Wan Ko Yee “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III” has received high recognition worldwide. Both the governments of the State of California and City of San Francisco have separately proclaimed March 8,2000 as‘Master Wan Ko Yee “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III” Day’because of his outstanding achievements in various fields.

The true dharma of the Tathagata astounded me and all others!

I gratefully thank Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for opening my eyes to the holy dharma. That is worthy of my devoting the current life to becoming a bhiksuni!

On the eve of 2018 lunar New Year, we were joyfully waiting for the three great virtuous ones, Gelan Deqian Shile Yu Zun, Wang Zha Shang Zun, and Venerable Mo Zhi, to come and celebrate the New Year with us. Unexpectedly, the karmic condition suddenly changed at that time. A tremendously great, broad, and profound cause with the dharma even emerged from the originally planned New Year celebration with the holy virtuous ones. That let we Buddhist disciples present have a supremely magnificent eyesight.The supreme and magnificent state truly opened the eyes of all the Buddhist disciples at the scene. The circumstance was truly “difficult to encounter even in millions of eons!”

On that day, there were nearly one hundred Buddhist disciples with deep good roots present. Suddenly, one of the fellow sisters raised her hand to speak. Her voice was not loud, but was filled with sincerity. She said, “It is New Year now. I must present my offering to the tremendous holy virtuous one. I will present all my assets, including all my money in the bank, as an offering without leaving a cent behind!”

The tremendous holy virtuous one said, “If you offer everything, what do you have for eating and living?” She was stunned for a moment and then regained her sense and replied, “Then I will keep 20,000 dollars as my living expense.”

The tremendous holy virtuous one said, “You absolutely cannot do that. You have to have sufficient resource of good fortune for cultivation.” She said, “My business will have money come in. Please do not worry about me. If, at the time of New Year, I do not even have this mindset of offering, I would not be a Buddhist disciple and would not be as good as a pig or a dog. Then, how could I become accomplished?” She stated very firmly.

The tremendous holy virtuous one said, “I will not accept even a cent of your offering.” But she was very stubborn and insisted on making the offering. Her entire body was trembling due to excitement. My heart was also moved by her sincerity and piousness and was in continuous upheaval.

Since the stalemate could not end, the tremendous holy virtuous one could only persuade her that she could present the offering to the Ancient Buddha Temple and the merit of doing that is also very great, but she did not agree, saying, “My vow and action is to present the offering to the tremendous holy virtuous one.”

Since she could not be convinced to listen no matter what, the tremendous holy virtuous one could only say, “If you continue to insist on this, I will not teach you. In short, I absolutely will not accept a cent from your offering.” So, she had no choice and finally agreed to make an offering to the Ancient Buddha Temple.

The tremendous holy virtuous one said, “Since I came to this world, I have not met any disciple in this lifetime who treated me so sincerely. You are the first one who is selfless and pious to present all your assets as an offering to me without leaving a cent behind. That is so pure. You made me so moved. Since you treat me so seriously and present such a great gift to me, although I do not accept a cent from you, I and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have accepted your mindset and action. According to the stipulation of the dharma, I must give you a holy gift in return. My holy gift is: Tonight, between 1am to 5am after midnight, the yidam who is a Bodhisattva will come to meet you in person!” A round of exclamation of excitement came from the astounded crowd.

Next, a petition was written before the crowd, which was laid on a table before the disciples to let everyone take turns to view respectfully. The tremendous holy virtuous one said, “After you all have looked at it, this written petition will be burnt. Tonight, the Bodhisattva will restore it and return it to you. You bring it here tomorrow to let everyone see whether it is this written petition. This written petition is a treasure. With it, you can learn whatever great dharma.”

Hearing that, I simply could not understand. Others seemed to have the same feeling. A written petition that has already been burnt will be restored by a Bodhisattva and sent back in its original form. How could that be possible?! Therefore, all looked at the written petition especially carefully, paying attention to observe its characteristic of hand writing, so that one can make sure whether it is restored to the same written petition.

After we all had looked at it carefully with respect, the tremendous holy virtuous one took the written petition from the table and burnt it before everyone’s eyes. The tremendous holy virtuous one returned from the crowd of disciples to His dharma seat and said, “Tonight, the Bodhisattva yidam will come to you in person and return this burnt written petition to you.”

The next day, we the same group of people came back. That fellow sister also came to the Buddha hall early. I believed that everyone was like me and wanted very much to know whether she had received the written petition or not, but also feared for causing disrespect and thus dared not ask.

It was until about an hour later that the tremendous holy virtuous one pushed the door of the Buddha hall open. We all rose to pay respect. The tremendous holy virtuous one asked her, “Did you receive it?” She said, “Yes, I did.” Then, the tremendous holy virtuous one told her to take it out and place on the same spot on the table where it has been placed the day before and let us all take turns to view respectfully. What else could be said now? This written petition which had been burnt before our eyes a day ago now was lively placed before our eyes again. Other than the astounded exclamation and admiration for the subtle, marvelous, and inconceivable holy feat, we simply could not control the excitement in our heart!

At this time, the tremendous holy virtuous one said, “You tell everyone how it was received.” She said that, after returning home yesterday, she entered her room a little after 11pm to sit in meditation with the light turned off and wait for the Bodhisattva’s arrival. As she waited until after 1am, the Bodhisattva did not come. At 2am, the Bodhisattva did not come. At 3am, the Bodhisattva still did not come. She was somewhat worried, “Why has the Bodhisattva still not come yet? Does this mean it will not be sent back?” It was until after 4am in the morning, she simply could not continue and was dazed to fall asleep. She said that at that time she did not know clearly whether she fell asleep or not. Anyway, it was just such a situation. Suddenly, she heard a yell, “So-and-so, I come to deliver the written petition to you!”

Her mind was somewhat slow then and she did not know how to respond. Then, she heard another yell, “So-and-so, I come to deliver the written petition to you!” She opened her eyes and saw that the room was fully filled with flashy and shining golden light! The golden-colored majestic yidam was in the space, standing before her! She joyfully listened to the Bodhisattva speaking to her. After a while, she somehow was activated to wake up from the dream. As she opened her eyes, the golden light was still tremblingly flashing in the room. She turned on the light and looked at her hand, which was holding the burnt written petition!!! She was so excited while holding the written petition in both hands and did not know what to do. She did not feel safe for placing it at any place. She said that she was afraid that the written petition might fly away! She carefully wrapped it with another sheet of white paper and put it near her chest under her clothing. After coming to the Buddha hall that evening, only after seeing the tremendous holy virtuous one, did she dare to take it out before everyone.

What great and magnificent Buddha-dharma this is! Her deep good root and her piousness and purity toward Buddha-dharma enabled her to receive the highest or first-class initiation of the “Initiation of Dharma Affinity with the Yidam.” This is to first burn a written petition which has been written before everyone to send it to the yidam and then the yidam restores the written petition and send it back in person to the disciple receiving the initiation. This is the step that this fellow sister received. This is the first step of the first-class Initiation of Dharma Affinity with the Yidam. The next step is Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva. This written petition will again be transformed into a rainbow in front of the crowd to be taken away by the Bodhisattva. At that time, utmost precious nectar will be bestowed to confer her the initiation. The yidam will manifest with her beseeching. She will become a holy one right away!!! As long as she can strictly abide by the precepts, she will not recede from the accomplishment!

This is the most powerful Buddha-dharma that I have seen since I became a monastic. I am truly moved and excited with all kinds of feelings. Very profound Buddha-dharma that can enable one to expediently and quickly attain accomplishment is truly possessed and upheld by the tremendous holy virtuous one and great holy virtuous ones for anyone to receive. However, the key is: how pious are we really? Anything in the world can be bought with money and wealth, regardless of how precious and expensive it is. However, true Buddha-dharma cannot be bought and can only be exchanged with one’s thoroughly pure mind and conduct!

I, Sangjie Tieba Rinpoche, attest to the following sequence of events that occurred on April 15th, 2018 during the Guan Yin Bodhisattva Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma Assembly, held in Potomac, Maryland.

After the Guan Yin Bodhisattva Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma Assembly began, the participants in attendance were told to raise their arms in front of them, allow their hands to hang down and to close their eyes. We were also told not to open our eyes until instructed. Shortly after closing my eyes, my mind began to reflect on the suffering of the world. The emotions I felt were powerful and brought tears to my eyes. I am not sure how much time passed, but all of a sudden I was struck rather hard in the area of my heart, pushing me backward. While I was startled and confused, a female voice said to me “Do not be afraid” in a firm, but compassionate tone, which immediately calmed me down.

This woman continually struck the same area of my chest only more gently. After each strike, she told me to “Breath,” which I did. After 8 to 10 strikes in this manner, she stopped. Then as suddenly as she had appeared, she was gone. Feeling drained, I lowered my arms to my side. My mind returned to reflecting on the suffering of the world. Only now I was calmer and more engaged in the emotions that accompanied this reflection.

After the ceremony concluded, we were asked to share our experiences. A sister spoke and described a remarkable journey she experienced. She was guided by Guan Yin Bodhisattva. Ultimately, she was told to return to the Dharma Assembly, for she had work to do. It was her, through the guidance of Guan Yin Bodhisattva, who struck me and moved throughout the assembly engaging others as she was told to do.

Since the Guan Yin Bodhisattva Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma Assembly, I continually hear the voice instructing me “Do not be afraid” and to “Breath.” I lack the accomplishment to understand the meaning of this message and why I was chosen to hear it. However, the law of cause and effect never errors. If what I have just reported is false, I will descend into the Vajra Hell.

In September this year, I had the good fortune to attend the Dharma Assembly of Empowerment by Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva’s Great Compassion and received great empowerment from Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva. The effect was very magnificent. I take this opportunity to share my experience and feelings at that time with my fellow cultivators.

At the beginning of the dharma assembly, I was a little nervous. I closed my eyes and raised my arms to the horizontal position. I bent my legs slightly. A short while later, I heard the hearty laughter from some people. I wanted very much to know who received the empowerment from Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva so quickly, but I dared not open my eyes.

I firmly remembered what the presiding master told us and did my best to keep my mind calm and focused. Suddenly, a strong heat flow went from my right shoulder to the left shoulder. My hands then began waving spontaneously to the left and right. I felt heat emitting from my body. Next, I opened my voice to cry and shout. My hand-waving and crying lasted for a while and then gradually came to a stop. At this time, my body felt hot and sweated. I felt rather tired and so sat down on the ground.

After resting for a while, I stood up with my eyes still closed. I raised my arms again. At this time, I heard someone singing. The voice of singing came closer from far away and in a short while was behind me. Ah, I heard clearly that the song was the Six Character Great Bright Mantra. The ear-pleasing singing changed from the solo singing at the beginning to a chorus with many people. Eventually I heard that the wonderfully pleasant singing also came from the space. I felt that the Bodhisattva was empowering us from the space. I naturally joined the singing. Tears unintentionally flew down from my eyes. That was my gratitude to the kindness received! Meanwhile, my legs started to tremble and my hands were waving again. However, the movement this time was somewhat different from what I did earlier and was like dancing along with the pleasant singing. At that time, my mood was joyful and delighted and my body was very relaxed. In this manner, my hands were waving continuously until the dharma master announced, “Stop.”

After the dharma assembly concluded perfectly, the relaxed and pleasant feeling remained in my mind. I am extremely grateful!

After the dharma assembly, I have two beneficial effects from the empowerment. The first is that my shoulder pain has completely disappeared! Shoulder pain was an old illness that plagued me for many years. The second is that I am now much more energetic than before! In the past, when I was practicing the dharma or reading respectfully Buddhist books, I would feel sleepy after half an hour. I am now much more energetic and will not dose off even after two hours.

I am extremely grateful to the good fortune of attending such a magnificent dharma assembly this time!

The Explanation of the Buddha’s Title – “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III”

In particular, on December 12, 2012, the Senate Resolution No. 614 of the United States Congress officially used “His Holiness” in the name addressing Dorje Chang Buddha III (That is to say, “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”) Since then, the title and status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has been definitive by nature. And, as a matter of fact, “Dorje Chang Buddha III” is a name used legally in governmental and official legislative documents. Therefore, the previously used respected name and titles such as “Wan Ko Yee,” Great Master, and Great Dharma King no longer exist.

People who have read articles discussing His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha IIImight assume he is a villain given the rumors that tend to spread on the Internet. Since the public security department of China’s Guangdong Province issued an arrest warrant for the case of “Yi Yungao’s Fraud” long ago, there has been much speculation as to what the truth actually is. That arrest warrant was reported to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), which also issued its own arrest warrant based on China’s request. The fact is, “Yi Yungao” is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s worldly name before being recognized as the Buddha. However, after more than 12 years since INTERPOL issued that arrest warrant, why can He still travel freely from country to country without being arrested? Shouldn’t this fact make people wonder whether He is a criminal or not? H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha IIIspends much of his time publicly in the United States. Not only does He never go into hiding, He also visits different countries to teach and receive people of all walks openly. He even went to the U. S. Capitol to accept the “World Peace Prize” in person. Many policemen were at the site on that day, yet no arrests were made. INTERPOL could have had Him apprehended without any effort. Then, why didn’t they? What is the truth behind this situation?

The so-called case of “Yi Yungao’s Fraud”, according to insiders, was actually a forged case jointly fabricated by Zhou Yongkang, the then Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Chen Shaoji , the then Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee and the Police Chief of Guangdong Province (who later served as the chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of Guangdong Province and was sentenced to death with reprieval for embezzlement and corruption in 2010) for framing H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.

This incident dates back to 1999, when Lau Pak Hun and Wong Hiu Shui were H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s students. Due to an occurrence of fraud at the Master Yi Yungao Museum in Hong Kong, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III told the museum’s members to form a team of inspection and reporting and to put up a report box. Wong Hiu Shui begged H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III to withdraw the inspection and reporting but was rejected by His Holiness. Since Wong Hiu Shui was the person committing the fraud, she generated deep hatred. On the next day after the team of inspection and reporting was formed, she beclouded Lau Pak Hun and some other people by smearing H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III as a villain doing all evils. That caused the Master’s Museum to be closed down three days later and the team of inspection and reporting to be dismissed automatically.

Wong Hiu Shui’s godfather, Mr. Niu, was from Sichuan and was the deputy minister of a ministry of the Central Government at that time. His son was a business partner of Wong Hiu Shui’s. Mr. Niu was directly acquainted with the then Communist Party Secretary of Sichuan Province, Zhou Yongkang, and the corrupt official in Guangdong, Chen Shaoji, through work relations. With hatred towards H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, Mr. Niu, together with Zhou Yongkang and Chen Shaoji, planned and fabricated the case of “Yi Yungao’s Fraud.” Zhou Yongkang and the then Mayor of Chengdu, Li Chuncheng, both signed the persecution document that forcefully ordered the closure of the Master Yi Yungao Museum, built by the Dayi County Government and approved by the Chengdu City Planning Committee, a property that belonged to the government. More then 100 paintings and calligraphy arts on exhibition in the museum, created and provided to the museum by H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, were then embezzled into private hands. Without any necessity nor providing any compensation, the government purposedly demolished the only real estate owned by H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in China — His residence located at No. 19, West Xinhua Road in Chengdu, Sichuan. To this day, that parcel of land, located at the center of the city’s business district, remains baron with nothing constructed on it.

On June 20, 2002, under the instruction of Chen Shaoji, the Shenzhen Police Bureau used a baseless cause of “defrauding through a contract” to issue a “Report Form To Place Criminal Case On File For Investigation And Prosecution” in order to establish a case on Yi Yungao. The report stated that Yi Yungao signed a contract with Liu Juan in April of 2000 to sell the already-sold Auspiciousness Building (Jixiang Property) in Shenzhen to Liu Juan and made 150 million CNYs from the fraud. The Shenzhen Police Bureau tortured Liu Juan to extort a deposition from her. Moreover, they planted a separate matter on Yi Yungao which involves Lau Pak Hun, a Hong Kong businessman, being defrauded by his Buddhist sister Wong Hiu Shui regarding a property. As a result, Liu Juan and Lau Pak Hun were the only two “victims” in the entire case as reported by the news media.

Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) prosecuted Wong Hiu Shui and her brother in November 2002 for their crime of illegally mortgaging the Master Yi Yungao Museum in Hong Kong to a bank in order to obtain a loan, and the High Court in Hong Kong subsequently sentenced them to 11 years and 7.5 years in jail respectively. Knowing well that Won Hiu Shui was the real criminal, the Guangdong Police Department, under the control of Chen Shaoji, had to obey and execute their boss’ order and framed the crime on H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. At the end of 2002, the Police Department of Guangdong Province still issued an arrest warrant for Yi Yungao, but the statement therein was contradictory to the case report of the Shenzhen Police Bureau, saying that He “obtained a property with a huge value of about 60 million CNYs from the victims by fraud.”

So, was the Shenzhen Police Bureau telling the truth, or was the Police Department of Guangdong Province? Who were these unfounded “victims”that did not really exist? Isn’t it ridiculous?

After being promoted as the Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee under the CPC Central Committee in Beijing and later the position of a Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Zhou Yongkang continued the persecution against H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Although INTERPOL did issue an arrest warrant of Red Notice near the end of 2004 based on a request by China, questions were quickly raised about the case right at that time. Therefore, the case was restarted and a detailed investigation lasting more than three years was launched. Eventually INTERPOL firmly determined that this was a fabricated false case to frame H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Meanwhile, the relevant government agencies in China also confirmed through verification that Yi Yungao did not commit any crime. They submitted a report to INTERPOL on June 11, 2008, requesting to rescind the arrest warrant. Think this: If the person is guilty, would China take an initiative to cancel the arrest warrant?

At the 72nd session of “the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files” held in October 2008, a conclusion of “Not Guilty” was reached and INTERPOL officially announced the cancelation of the arrest warrant for “Yi Yungao” as well as the entire case. Additionally, an official document was issued to inform all member nations not to detain “Yi Yungao.” INTERPOL also wrote a letter to H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III on this matter, which described the entire process.

The fact is that H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has never said or done anything that violated the law or committed a crime, nor has there been any “guilty verdict” against Him from any court or law-enforcement agency. He legally arrived at the United States on August 1, 1999 with a teaching invitation and subsequently obtained legal permanent residency. He has never returned to China since. H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has never formed a company in China. Not only has He never signed a contract or done any business with Liu Juan, but He also, by no means, had any authority to sign the contract even if He wanted to, because the company that owned the Auspiciousness Building (i.e. Jixiang Property) was not H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s. H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III never served any position at the company and was not even an employee. In fact, H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has never signed any contract with anyone!

The Police Bureau made a false accusation against H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha IIIwith no substantial evidence. They do not have a contract to show to the public at all,. They only have a false “Report Form To Place Criminal Case On File For Investigation And Prosecution” to smear H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III with. If they disagree , we ask them to post this contract on the Internet and let everyone see it.

As early as in 2003, Liu Juan already wrote a statement while in the United States and sent it to the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court with notarization to attest that she was tortured into an extorted false deposition. “I had to say whatever the Police personnel wanted me to say according to their purposes,” she stated. She also stated that H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III absolutely had not defrauded her. The other “victim”, Lau Pak Hun, spoke publicly at a press conference held in Hong Kong on December 9, 2014, stating that H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III never defrauded him for money and it was Wong Hiu Shui who deceived him and defrauded his property. On April 23, 2015, Lau Pak Hun stated again in a written testimony: “My Master H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III never defrauded me! The person who defrauded me for more than 60 million Hong Kong dollars is my unworthy Buddhist sister Wong Hiu Shui. For that, the court in Hong Kong sentenced her to nine years imprisonment. She has received the punishment by law that she deserved. I always think that my Master H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the greatest and the most selfless.”

Since the “victims” in the case as well as INTERPOL have successively testified and proven that this is a false case fabricated for framing H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, and since China has also requested INTERPOL to cancel the arrest warrant, why is the arrest warrant issued by the Police Department of Guangdong Province still online, and why has no decision been made to exonerate an innocent person? That is really the core of the entire matter!

According to information revealed, the unlawful police personnel in Guangdong and Shenzhen led by Chen Shaoji privately embezzled lots of money, properties, and valuables under the cloak of handling cases. Not only they robbed more than 700 paintings and calligraphy arts created by H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III out of painstaking efforts through several decades (which are conservatively worth more than 40 billion CNYs if calculated by the current auction prices of H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s art works), they robbed over 70 famous ancient paintings that Mr. Wu Wentou had bought for his collection, but also they plundered tens of kilograms of gold and jewelries as well as brand name watches and other valuables from the jewelry company owned jointly by Liu Juan and Wu Wentou. They are the avaricious “Big Tigers” who never refrain from eating humans!

Although the corrupt officials, including Zhou Yongkang and Chen Shaoji, in persecuting H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III were later sentenced to jail terms one after another due to their corruption and degeneration being uncovered in other cases, the embezzling and corrupt members of the police involved in this case are still within the rank of the Police Department of Guangdong Province. To cover up their crimes of embezzlement, they resist the cancelation of the arrest warrant by all means. Worrying about their embezzling acts being exposed, they spread rumors everywhere to describe H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III as a bad person in order to delude the great masses and to hide their own embezzlement and corruption.

Another and even more important fact is that the greatly loving and greatly compassionate H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III never minds and never appeals or complains about any framing, persecution, or slandering against Him. When people of the “World Peace Prize Awarding Council” asked Him, after learning the facts, why He had not published INTERPOL’s conclusion from investigation to refute the rumors, H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III said, “I will bear all negative karmas and sins of living beings, and I will give all my good karmas and merit to you. These are the things I will do. If I show stuff to exonerate me, then the people who slandered me would be tarnished. Who will bear their sins and negative karmas in that case?”

According to the news media, H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III had already announced to the whole world since early years that He “would not accept offering from any people in this entire lifetime.” For all these decades, there have been innumerable instances where He declined offerings worth tens of millions or even more than 100 million from others. Moreover, at the “New York Spring Auction” in March 2015, a painting titled Ink Lotus that took less than two hours of H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s time to create was auctioned for 16.5 million U.S. dollars, the highest price realized at this spring auction, exceeding by far the prices of other paintings by famous ancient and modern Chinese artists sold there.

Could such a great person with huge wealth and accomplishments defraud people for money and property? This is certainly worth pondering. After reading the “Important Replies from Holy Virtuous Ones and Eminent Monastics” dated on the sixth day of the first month of the lunar calendar, I was very much astounded. I really hate myself for being so stupid and ignorant. I did not even analyze the matters that are clearly in the open and had to wait until the great holy virtuous ones to mention them to wake up from the deluded dream state. We are truly so pitiful and must slap ourselves two times to wake up!

Since H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is such a great Buddha, why would there be disciples who betrayed Him? This obstruction of confusion always locked me and constrained me tightly so that I was unable to untie the doubt. In particular, some of them are famous masters who followed H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III for so many years. How could they still betray the Buddha? I could not figure this out! I could not figure this out!

After reading the answer dated on the sixth day of the first month, the doubt has finally been removed to see the blue sky. I am truly too stupid, too stupid! I should slap myself two times again. Why couldn’t I see through such clear matters! I had to rely on the great holy virtuous ones to point them out to see the truth. Thinking back now and makingcomparisons, it is certainly true that evil and defrauding masters are deeply in hiding. However, their purpose is to defraud Buddhists to gather offerings to make a living for themselves. Restrictions on them set by true Buddha-dharma and the precepts that require them to benefit living beings are opposite to their purpose. To escape from the restrictions, they, of course, must betray true Buddha-dharma. The situation is so logical. But, why couldn’t I think this through without being pointed out by holy virtuous ones? I shouldslap myself two more times!

It is true that traitors emerged from disciples of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. However, even more traitors emerged from disciples of Sakyamuni Buddha. This is because the Buddha’s teaching and dharma restricted their evil behavior, so they had to betray to escape by completely joining evil practices. Why didn’t I think about this fact at the time? I am too pitiful! I should slap myself two more times again!

From detailed investigations, each and every one of the so-called famous master who betrayed is an amateur to the sutras, vinayas, and shastras (commentaries), without even one who understands the teachings of the sutras. They fake great holy ones but forcefully reach their hands out to commit fraud. Their words are full of evil statements showing ignorance to Buddhism. Why didn’t I think about this? Not even understanding the principles of true Buddha-dharma, can they be holy ones? Earning such poor scores from the examination, can they be holy ones? Making erroneous answers to questions on the fundamental principles of Buddhism, are they still Buddhists? Moreover, those who betrayed all have no knowledge of the sutras, vinayas, and shastras of Buddhism and all speak falsely in evil and harmful ways. Why didn’t I think this through? Only until the answers from great holy virtuous ones have been published, did I understand this fact today. I am truly as silly as a pig! Now I should slapmyself even three more times! I slapmyself for being so silly and not thinking about such simple truth. I only thought about that some disciples of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III betrayed. Why didn’t I think about the fact that even more disciples of Sakyamuni Buddha had betrayed? Why didn’t I think about the fact that these masters who betrayed have no knowledge in sutras, vinayas, andshastras and always speak baselessly fabricated lies? We are simply pitiful! I now understand today! I will repent over and over again!!

The Explanation of the Buddha’s Title – “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III”

On April 3, 2008, a solemn and dignified first-publishing ceremony of a fact-recording book entitled H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, which published jointly by the World Buddhism Publishing LLC and the World Dharma Voice, Inc., was held at the Library of the Congress of the United States. The book was also formally accepted into the collection of the Library of the Congress of the United States. Only since that time, did people in the world know that Master Wan Ko Yee, who had been broadly respected by the great masses and who had also been known as Great Dharma King Yangwo Yeshe Norbu, had been recognized by the world’s leaders, regent dharma kings, and great rinpoches of Buddhism through official documents as the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha, who is the primordial Sambhogakaya Buddha of the universe. The Buddha’s name is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Since then, people began to address His Holiness the Buddha by “Namo[1] Dorje Chang Buddha III.” This is similar to the situation that Sakyamuni Buddha’s name was Prince Siddhartha Gotama before attaining Buddhahood. However, after Sakyamuni Buddha had attained Buddhahood, His title changed to “Namo Sakyamuni Buddha.” That is why we now address His Holiness the Buddha as “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”

In particular, on December 12, 2012, the Senate Resolution No. 614 of the United States Congress officially used “His Holiness” in the name addressing Dorje Chang Buddha III (That is to say, “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”) Since then, the title and status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has been definitive by nature. And, as a matter of fact, “DorjeChang Buddha III” is a name used legally in governmental and official legislative documents. Therefore, the previously used respected name and titles such as “Wan Ko Yee,” Great Master, and Great Dharma King no longer exist.

However, the news below was published before the Buddha’s title of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was publicly announced. At that time, people did not know about the true status of His Holiness the Buddha. Therefore, to respect the true history, we still kept the names used before the title of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was legitimately determined in republishing this news. However, all must clearly know that the only legitimate name of His Holiness the Buddha is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and all other names used before the legitimate determination no longer exist.
